  Early Life Fakir Lalon Shah (c. 1774 – 17 October 1890) was a Bengali Baul saint, mystic, philosopher, songwriter, and social reformer. His exact birth date and place remain uncertain, as he left no written autobiography, and much of his life is shrouded in oral traditions.
